Yes, UnderHost offers domain name registration in addition to web hosting. You can register a new domain, transfer an existing domain from another registrar, or simply point a domain you've registered elsewhere to your UnderHost hosting.
Domain registration at UnderHost
UnderHost acts as a domain registrar offering a range of popular top-level domains (TLDs). Registering your domain and hosting in the same account simplifies management-nameservers are pre-configured automatically and renewal reminders are consolidated into your CustomerPanel account.
Available domain extensions
UnderHost offers registration for many popular TLDs including:
- Popular TLDs: .com, .net, .org, .co, .io, .ws, .me, .cc, .tv, .info, .biz, .xyz, .name, .mobi
- Country-code TLDs: .ca, .nl, .to, .uk, .de, .fr, .eu, .be, .us, .in
- Offshore-focused option: .to, the Tonga ccTLD highlighted by UnderHost for jurisdiction-diverse projects
Check the UnderHost domain pricing page for the current list of available TLDs and live annual pricing. Not all country-code domains worldwide are available for registration through UnderHost-see international domain support for details.
Domain registry pricing can change by extension. Always confirm the current registration, transfer, and renewal price on the UnderHost domain pricing page before ordering.
How to register a domain
- Go to the UnderHost domain pricing page and use the domain search tool
- Enter your desired domain name and choose an extension
- Add it to your cart-optionally bundle it with a hosting plan
- Complete checkout through CustomerPanel
- Your domain registers within minutes and appears under My Domains in CustomerPanel
Domain registrations are active immediately. You can configure DNS records through CustomerPanel or cPanel's Zone Editor once the domain is registered.
Transferring an existing domain
If your domain is registered elsewhere and you want to move the registration to UnderHost, see the domain transfer guide. Transfers take 5–7 days and require an EPP/auth code from your current registrar. Your website stays live throughout the process.
You don't have to register or transfer your domain to UnderHost. Many customers keep their domain at a separate registrar and just update the nameservers to point to UnderHost. See Which nameservers should I use?
Free domain with hosting
Some UnderHost hosting plans include a free domain registration for the first year when purchased together with a qualifying hosting plan. The free domain is applied automatically at checkout-check current promotions on the UnderHost website when ordering. Note that domain renewals after the first year are billed at the standard annual rate.
