How to access webmail from cPanel
Open webmail from cPanel or directly by URL, log in with the full email address, use Roundcube, and fix common webmail password or SSL issues.

Webmail lets you read and send email from any browser without configuring Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, or a phone. cPanel webmail commonly uses Roundcube.
Access webmail from cPanel
- Log in to cPanel.
- Open Email and choose Email Accounts.
- Find the mailbox you want to open.
- Click Check Email.
- Select Roundcube if cPanel asks you to choose a webmail application.
Opening webmail this way usually logs you into the selected mailbox automatically.
Direct webmail URL
You can also open webmail directly:

Login details
- Username: the full email address, for example
hello@example.com. - Password: the password for that email account.
The webmail password is not necessarily your cPanel password or CustomerPanel password. If the password is refused, reset the mailbox password in Email Accounts and then try again.
Roundcube basics
Roundcube is the standard webmail interface on many cPanel servers. It supports:
- Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Junk, and Trash folders.
- Compose, reply, forward, CC, BCC, and attachments.
- Search by sender, subject, or message content.
- Identities, display name, signatures, and address book.
- IMAP folders that sync with your email client.
