Log in to DirectAdmin: access your control panel
Find your DirectAdmin login URL, use your hosting credentials, and resolve common login errors. DirectAdmin runs on port 2222 and is separate from cPanel.

DirectAdmin runs on port 2222 by default. Access it through a browser using your server IP or hostname. Your login credentials are the same username and password provided in your hosting welcome email.
Login URL
Replace server.underhost.com with your actual server hostname or IP address:
http://server.underhost.com:2222
https://server.underhost.com:2222Find your hostname or IP in CustomerPanel → Services → your hosting service → service details.
Your credentials
Enter the username and password from your hosting welcome email. The username is your hosting account username (usually the first part of your domain). If you've forgotten the password, reset it from CustomerPanel → service details → Change Password.
Auto-login from CustomerPanel
- Log in to customerpanel.ca
- Go to Services → My Services
- Click on your hosting service
- Click Login to DirectAdmin
This logs you in automatically without requiring your DirectAdmin password.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Solution |
|---|---|
| Port 2222 blocked | Some corporate firewalls or ISPs block non-standard ports. Use the CustomerPanel auto-login instead, or connect via VPN. |
| Wrong username or password | Reset the password from CustomerPanel → service details |
| Connection timeout | Confirm the server IP is correct. Check if the server is online via the network status page. |
| SSL certificate error | The server hostname may not have a trusted SSL cert. Click "Proceed" in your browser, or use the server IP with HTTP. |
