Access your control panel via the client area
Log in to cPanel, DirectAdmin, CloudPanel, or aaPanel directly from your CustomerPanel account without needing to remember the server IP or panel password.
On this page
The easiest way to access any control panel on your UnderHost account is through CustomerPanel. You get a one-click auto-login that does not require typing a URL or password.
Access via CustomerPanel
-
Log in to CustomerPanel
Go to customerpanel.ca and sign in with your billing email and password.
-
Open your service
Click Services → My Services in the top navigation, then click the hosting plan you want to manage.
-
Click the control panel login button
On the service details page, look for the login button. It will be labelled based on your panel type:
- Login to cPanel-for cPanel shared or reseller hosting
- Login to DirectAdmin-for DirectAdmin shared hosting
- CloudPanel URL / aaPanel URL-for VPS plans, the URL is typically shown in the service details; you log in with the credentials from your welcome email
The Login to cPanel and Login to DirectAdmin buttons use a secure auto-login token. They log you in immediately without requiring you to enter a username or password at the panel login screen. This is the most convenient and reliable method.
Direct URL access
If you prefer to access the panel directly (without going through CustomerPanel), use the URLs below. Replace the placeholder with your server hostname or IP, which is shown in your welcome email or CustomerPanel service details.
| Panel | Direct URL | Login with |
|---|---|---|
| cPanel | https://server.underhost.com:2083 | cPanel username + cPanel password |
| DirectAdmin | https://server.underhost.com:2222 | Hosting username + account password |
| CloudPanel | https://YOUR.SERVER.IP:8443 | CloudPanel admin username + password |
| aaPanel | http://YOUR.SERVER.IP:PORT/path | aaPanel username + password (set during install) |
Your CustomerPanel login (billing account) and your control panel login are different. The cPanel or DirectAdmin username and password were in your hosting welcome email. If you lost the welcome email, you can reset the password from CustomerPanel → service details → Change Password.
Panel ports reference
| Panel | HTTPS port | HTTP port | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| cPanel | 2083 | 2082 | Always use HTTPS (2083) |
| DirectAdmin | 2222 | 2222 | Supports both HTTP and HTTPS on same port |
| CloudPanel | 8443 | N/A | HTTPS only |
| aaPanel | Custom | Custom | Port set during installation; check welcome email |
If your network blocks these ports, see Cannot access your control panel-what to check.
If the control panel button is missing
If you do not see a login button in CustomerPanel for your service:
- Check your welcome email-VPS plans often include direct panel access details there instead of in CustomerPanel
- Confirm you are looking at the correct service (some accounts have multiple services)
- On bare VPS plans, no panel is pre-installed-you would need to install or request one
- Open a support ticket if you are still unsure-the team can confirm your panel details
Can't access your panel?
Reset your password or open a support ticket if you're having login problems.
