How to log in to WHM

Find your WHM login URL, use your WHM-enabled cPanel/server credentials, and resolve common login problems. WHM is accessed on port 2087.

On this page

WHM (WebHost Manager) is accessed through a separate URL from cPanel, using port 2087 over HTTPS. Use the WHM-enabled username for the server, reseller role, or cPanel license you administer.

WHM login URL

Use one of these formats-replace server.underhost.com with your actual server hostname or IP address:

FormatExample
HTTPS (recommended)https://server.underhost.com:2087
HTTPhttp://server.underhost.com:2086
Direct domainhttps://yourdomain.com:2087
WHM shortcuthttps://yourdomain.com/whm

Find your server hostname or IP in CustomerPanel → Services → your hosting plan → service details.

The /whm shortcut normally redirects to WHM for domains pointed at the cPanel server. If the domain is not pointed to the server yet, use the server hostname or IP with port 2087.

Login credentials

Enter the WHM-enabled username and password for your cPanel/WHM server. On root-admin servers this may be the root or administrator-level account. On delegated WHM roles it may be a limited account with only selected WHM features.

Auto-login from CustomerPanel

  1. Log in to customerpanel.ca
  2. Go to Services → My Services
  3. Click on the VPS, dedicated, or managed cPanel/WHM service that includes WHM access
  4. Click Login to WHM if that action is available for the service

This creates a temporary single-sign-on session without needing your password.

Troubleshooting login issues

ProblemSolution
Connection refused / port blockedPort 2087 may be blocked by your ISP or corporate firewall. Try a different network or VPN, or use the CustomerPanel auto-login.
Invalid username/passwordReset your cPanel password from CustomerPanel → service details → Change Password
SSL certificate warningThe server uses a self-signed cert for the hostname. Proceed past the browser warning, or use your domain name instead of the server hostname if a valid cert is installed on it.
WHM not availableWHM is not included with standard shared hosting or UnderHost's managed white-label reseller service. It applies to services where you administer a cPanel/WHM server or license.
