How to report abuse on UnderHost infrastructure

Report spam, malware, phishing, copyright infringement, or other abuse from servers on UnderHost infrastructure through the official abuse reporting channel.

On this page

If you've received spam from a UnderHost-hosted server, discovered malware, or found a phishing site on our infrastructure, you can report it through our Abuse department. We take abuse reports seriously and investigate each one.

How to report abuse

Submit abuse reports via the support ticket system:

  1. Go to customerpanel.ca/client/submitticket.php
  2. Select the Abuse / Legal department
  3. Include all relevant details (see below)
  4. Submit your report

You do not need to have a CustomerPanel account to submit an abuse report-contact us through the public support form.

What to include in your report

  • The offending URL or IP address
  • Type of abuse (spam, phishing, malware, DDoS, copyright infringement, etc.)
  • Evidence-full email headers for spam reports, screenshots for phishing, links for copyright claims
  • Date and time of the incident
  • Your contact information (for follow-up)

DMCA / copyright notices

For copyright infringement notices (DMCA), include:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work being infringed
  • The specific URL(s) containing the infringing material
  • Your contact information
  • A statement that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf
  • A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate

Note: For servers in offshore jurisdictions, US DMCA rules do not automatically apply. We review copyright notices against the laws of the server's jurisdiction. See Offshore hosting and DMCA.

What happens after you report

  • Your report is reviewed by our abuse team
  • We investigate and contact the account holder if the report has merit
  • Action is taken based on the findings and applicable law
  • We may or may not disclose the outcome to you, depending on privacy and legal requirements
